Housing Policies: Essential Rules to Help Hokies be Set for Success

Reading the VT Housing Policies can help students have a better on-campus living experience.

These are general policies for students living on campus — food deliveries, cooking in the residence halls, animals, elevators, emergencies and more.

Students and student organizations who live on campus or use on-campus residential facilities are required to know and to comply with these policies.

Students are responsible for knowing and following all university policies, rules, and regulations as outlined in:

  • The Student Code of Conduct
  • The Housing Policies
  • Their respective Undergraduate or Graduate Catalog
