E-scooters and other transportation devices powered by lithium-ion batteries cannot be stored or charged on campus.

  • As a fire safety precaution and to remain compliant with university Policy 5005, these devices are not permitted inside any university buildings.
  • While they may be secured at outdoor bike racks, charging these devices on campus, whether indoors or outdoors, is also strictly prohibited.
  • Should any prohibited items be found within university buildings, the matter will be referred to Student Conduct for further action. If you have questions, learn more about Policy 5005.
