- Virginia launches the Virginia Alternative State Aid (VASA) application. Learn more about Virginia's new alternative aid application for Virginia students who are otherwise ineligible to complete the FAFSA. Students who apply through the VASA must meet the priority filing deadline for state aid consideration.
