Spring Family Weekend 2025 Registration

Spring Family Weekend is a time for you to reconnect with your student and be in community with other Hokie Families at Virginia Tech and in Blacksburg. ðŸ§¡âœ¨ðŸ¦ƒ Find the Spring Family Weekend schedule* of events in the Hokie Families Guide of the Hokies on Track app. The Hokie Families Guide also has "Plan Your Visit" information about parking, transit, dining, and limited area lodging, plus event descriptions, info sessions, and area attractions.

Highlighted events on Saturday include the annual "3.2-mile Run In Remembrance" hosted by Rec Sports, the Spring Family Luncheon and Social, as well as the Virginia Tech Athletics' Spring Football Game. We encourage you to learn more about each event and their corresponding impact on your visit including transportation, hotels, and parking.

    BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

    (1) Download and familiarize yourself with the "Hokie Families Guide" in the "Hokies On Track" App for all the Spring Family Weekend schedule details and "Plan Your Visit" information.

    (2) Talk with your student about which of the optional events, sessions, meals, and activities you/they would like to attend.

    (3) Decide together whether April 11-13 is the best time for your visit. We will continue to add and update the schedule as information becomes available.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    • Registering for Spring Family Weekend does not include registration for the 3.2-mile Run in Remembrance or tickets to the Spring Football Game. Visit the links to learn more.
    • The Spring Family Weekend Social from 12:30-2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12 in Squires Student Center, Commonwealth Ballroom A (room 202) is free WITH RESERVATION. Tickets do sell out quickly. Games, family connections, music, prizes, photo booth, swag, snacks & drinks, and more. Dozens of Virginia Tech organizations will have fun-and-interactive information booths to share with you. Plan to get to know other Hokie Families. Reserve your spot(s) in the Spring Family Weekend Social by indicating your plans in the final section of this form.
